How to connect a wallet to MetaPathLearn how to connect your wallet to the MetaPath ProtocolIf you have a wallet already, then this information will help you connect your wallet to the MetaPath Protocol. But if you don’t have a wallet yet, then you can learn how to create a wallet here.Your wallet represents your account and it enables you to have unlimited access to use the MetaPath Protocol.

To start using MetaPath, connect your wallet by following these steps:
1、Go to https://paths.finance/ and wallet options will automatically appear on your screen.
If it doesn’t appear, then click 'Connect Wallet'.
2、Select your wallet from the options provided for you. If you don't see your wallet in the options, select 'WalletConnect' to get a QR code that your wallet can scan.
3、Your wallet will prompt you to confirm this connection, either in your browser or on your mobile device. Once you confirm, you'll be automatically connected to the MetaPath Protocol and ready to swap, trade, and earn digital assets.
Now you can send and receive digital assets from that wallet on the MetaPath Protocol.

This is a core feature of all decentralized platforms: you hold your tokens in your wallet and authorize transactions with your private key. In contrast, centralized services like SWFT Blockchain and Binance take custody of your assets and authorize transactions on your behalf after you have signed in with your password.

Your wallet is your gateway to decentralized platforms.

Do I Need to Register or do KYC to use MetaPath?

Another core feature of the MetaPath Protocol is that you can access, use, explore and do a lot more on MetaPath without permission or KYC review and in addition to that all transactions carried out on our platform are transparent and traceable.
This means that MetaPath is open for public use without restrictions or discrimination as to who can benefit from the ease and speedy services offered by the platform. Anyone can swap, trade, and earn digital assets without limit.
This is a departure from the traditional financial service system which restricts access based on age, country, status, and so on.

Will this affect the security of my assets in any way?

Hell, no!

Our team has been working on the cross-chain swap platform, SWFT Blockchain, since 2017. About 20% of the global wallets and 90% of China-based wallets adopted SWFT cross-chain swap API.We have rich experience and verified routing and aggregation algorithms, routing to the best path, with the best rate, best depth, and the lowest fees, as well as a protection mechanism that will ensure that our user’s assets do not get affected under extreme market conditions.

We also have a good track record of stability, reliability, and security that for four (4) years (since we launched), there has been no security incident. We also have employees in ten (10) countries that can cover the global time zone for customer service, and have strong compliance capabilities and experience in cooperating with global law enforcement.

We have our own blacklist and whitelist database working together with international security companies, and we also have a strong risk control system that can identify suspicious transactions to ensure that the source of funds is legal and compliant, and proactively report suspicious transactions.

We have cooperated with global head security companies such as SlowMist, Certik, AnChain, Peckshiel, etc. It is a very close partnership. We also established a blacklist sharing partnership with Binance and other top exchanges. At the same time, we are also linked to the risk control system of other security companies. We also have our own unique risk control system to strictly censor suspicious transaction activities.
